Overview
As per Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly constituencies Order, 2008, No. 145 Sahebpur Kamal (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is composed of the following: Sahebpur Kamal and Ballia community development blocks.[1]
Sahebpur Kamal (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is part of No. 24 Begusarai (Lok Sabha constituency).[1]
Election results
2010-2014
In 2014 Assembly Bye-Elections, Shri Shreenarayan Yadav of RJD won this seat by defeating his nearest rival Shashi kant kumar [2]of BJP by a huge margin of 38,999 votes.
In 2010 Assembly Elections, Parveen Amanullah of JD(U) had won the newly constituted Sahebpur Kamal seat but resigned from her assembly membership in February, 2014 and joined AAP.
