Sadwal

Sadwal is a village which is situated at distance of about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) from district headquarters Chakwal in Pakistan. The southern area of Chakwal was known as "State of Kahoutani". That area is occupied by Kahouts Tribe, Kahouts are clans of Qureshi. . Sadwal is one of the oldest villages of Chakwal. The majority of the people are agriculturist and many people work in Gulf Countries and Europe, in addition to many doctors, engineers, professors and army personnel. There is one girls high school, one boys high school and two private school. Two coal roads lead to Sadwal from Sargodha Chakwal road. Gas and Telephone facility is already there. There is one post office, Government Rural Dispensary and a branch of United Bank Limited. Sadwal is an agricultural village, with the main products being wheat and peanuts.
