Sabir Zafar

Sabir Zafar (born 12 September 1949, Kahuta)[1][2] is a poet from Pakistan whose poetry has been sung by various singers notably Junoon. He is the recipient of Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in 2010.[3] He is the author of more than a dozen books of poetry and is widely known for his excellent and heart touching poetry. He is a member of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat.

Background

Zafar was born as Muzaffar Ahmed in Kahuta, Rawalpindi District in 1949 to a school teacher.[1][2]
