SF Express (Group) Co., Ltd. (Chinese: 顺丰速运(集团)有限公司; pinyin: Shùnfēng Sùyùn (Jítuán) Yǒuxiàn Gōngsī) is a Chinese delivery services company based in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China.[1] It is one of the two leading couriers in China, and provides domestic and international express delivery solutions to a wide array of customers. SF Express has a fleet of 31 cargo aircrafts, of which 13 are owned by its subsidiary SF Airlines.
History
SF Express, China's largest private delivery services firm in the mid-end market, is expanding its business in the supply chain where it builds e-commerce platforms in the upstream and trying to earn a share of the e-commerce logistics market, while also growing operations at its community stores, the Guangzhou-based Southern Weekly reports.
Since May, SF Express has opened at least 500 Heike (Chinese: 嘿客) — an online shopping service community store, across all Chinese provinces — except for in Tibet and Qinghai. The company plans to open 4,000 Heike stores nationwide in 2014.[2]
