SCE Japan Studio (SCEJ) (ソニー・コンピュータ・エンタテインメント・ジャパン・スタジオ) is the Japanese production and development arm of the parent company Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE), most well known for the Ape Escape, Loco Roco and Patapon series. Japan Studio operates as part of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios. The development group also includes Team Ico, who are best known for the PlayStation 2 games Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, and Project Siren, known for the Siren series and the PlayStation Vita titles Gravity Rush and Soul Sacrifice. Within SCE, Sugar & Rockets, an internal development team previously known as Exact, worked on games such as Ghost in the Shell, Geograph Seal, Jumping Flash!, Robbit Mon Dieu, and Covert Ops: Nuclear Dawn.[2]
