S.L. Benfica (archery)

The S.L. Benfica archery section was opened in 1949 and achieved several titles at regional, national and international level. It was one of the most important archery teams in Portugal, some of its titles include the Portuguese National Championship 9 times, the Portuguese Cup and the Tornoi Européen de Nîmes FITA once each.[1]

The last title won was in 2010 with Nuno Pombo in Men's Senior's and Armindo Cera in Veteran's class, both at Recurve Bow.[2]
