São Miguel das Missões is a municipality in Rio Grande do Sul state, southern Brazil.

History

The town grew around the Spanish colonial Jesuit Reduction, São Miguel das Missões (mission), founded in 1632. The ruins are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with a museum.
