São Jorge cheese (Portuguese: queijo São Jorge) is a semi-hard to hard cheese from the Portuguese island of São Jorge, located in the Azores.
Ingredients
It is made from unpasteurised cow's milk, and the pâte has small eyes.
It has a Protected Geographical Status (PDO) certification.[1]
