Ryszard Kapuściński Award for literary reportage

The Ryszard Kapuściński Award for Literary Reportage (Polish: Nagroda im. Ryszarda Kapuścińskiego za Reportaż Literacki) is an international award intended to pay posthumous homage to Ryszard Kapuściński, reporter, journalist, publicist and poet. Established in January 2010, the award is "a form of distinction and promotion of the most worthwhile reportage books which touch on important contemporary issues, evoke reflection, and deepen our knowledge of the world of other cultures", according to the foundators.[1] It was established by the Council of the Capital City of Warsaw.

Winners include Ed Vulliami, Jean Hatzfeld, Svetlana Alexievich and Liao Yiwu.[2]
