Ryan Tongia (born 31 May 1990 in Brisbane) is an Australian born professional rugby footballer player who currently plays rugby union for Hawke's Bay and the Highlanders in New Zealand. His position is right or left wing, full-back and Outside Center. He is a Papua New Guinea international.
Playing career
During his time playing rugby league for the Gold Coast Titans, Tongia did not play first grade but played in the Toyota Cup. He played two matches for Papua New Guinea in the 2010 Rugby League Four Nations.
Tongia played for the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats in 2011.
In July 2014, it was announced that he had signed with Hawke's Bay for 2014. [1]
