Ryan Marc Edwards (born 17 November 1993) is an Australian football (soccer) player who plays as a midfielder for Reading.
Club career
Reading
On 29 April 2011, it was announced he had signed with Championship side Reading along with his older brother Cameron.[2][3]
In April 2015, Edwards announced he'd been informed by Reading that they would not be renewing his contract, which expired that summer.[4]
Perth Glory (loan)
On 16 July 2013, Edwards left Reading on a season long loan to Perth Glory, then managed by his father Alistair and featuring his brother Cameron.[5] Edwards made his debut for Perth Glory on 13 October 2013 in their first game of the 2013–14 season, a 3-1 away defeat to Adelaide United.[6]
International career
Edwards has captained the Australia national under-20 association football team.[7] Edwards was a member of the Australian squad that went to the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup.[8] Edwards was part of the U-23 squad that took part in the 2013 AFC U-22 Championship in Oman.[9]

Personal life
Ryan is a son of former Australian international and coach Alistair Edwards,[11] and brother of Perth Glory midfielder Cameron Edwards.[12]
