Rutland is a train station in Rutland, Vermont served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. It is served daily by Amtrak's Ethan Allen Express. Rutland Amtrak station was built in 1999 along a former Delaware and Hudson Railroad (D&H) line, which served the Ethan Allen Express since 1996, and is not a reused D&H, or Rutland Railroad depot.

Designed by local firm NBF Architects, the station has walls of red brick that rise from a base of textured gray concrete block. To celebrate Rutland native Jim Jeffords, who represented Vermont in Congress, city leaders renamed the station the “James M. Jeffords Rail Passenger Welcome Center.” In addition, the city also chose to install a commemorative plaque in the waiting room.^[2]
