History
Founded in 1991, after the Soviet Union dissolution, as the first Russian educational and scientific center of social science. In the beginning the whole university included about 150 students on 2 faculties. Today the Russian State Social University is one of the biggest universities in Russia with over 80,000 students on 11 faculties. RSSU is the only educational center in Russia and former Soviet Union that provides such courses like social insurance and family law faculties.
