Russell Austin Lewis was an American football coach and educator in the United States.

Coaching career

Lewis was the third head football coach for the Abilene Christian University Wildcats located in Abilene, Texas and he held that position for the 1921 season.[5][6] His coaching record at Abilene Christian was 2 wins, 5 losses, and 0 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2007 season, this ranks him 17th at Abilene Christian in total wins and 17th at Abilene Christian in winning percentage (.286).[7]
