Run is a Hindi film released in the year 2004. It stars Abhishek Bachchan and Bhumika Chawla in the lead roles. It is directed by Jeeva and is a remake of the Tamil blockbuster of the same name starring Madhavan and Meera Jasmine. The film was produced by Boney Kapoor and Sridevi. The major portion of the film was shot at Marwah Studios in Noida. This film is majorly known for Vijay Raaz's comic performance. His performance was immensely praised and was the only saving grace of the film.

Youtube success

On Feb 8, 2013 Shemaroo lunched a meshup video of comedy scenes of Vijay Raaz from the movie on their youtube channel.^[1] Within 2 years the video garnered more than 12 million views and became the most watched comedy video of all-time in India. Movie Pundits believe the film could have been a success, had it got more scenes of Vijay Raaz than that of Abhishek Bachchan.
