The rufous-tailed shama (Trichixos pyrropygus) is a species of bird in the Muscicapidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Trichixos.[2] It is found in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand, where its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical swamps. It is threatened by habitat loss.[1]
