Royal LePage is a Canadian real estate franchiser and owner-operator with more than 600 locations and over 15,000 Realtors in Canada.[1] The company was founded on July 2, 1913 in Toronto, Canada by then 26-year-old Albert E. LePage, under the name "A.E. LePage, Bungalow Specialist." In 1984, the company was renamed Royal LePage following a merger with Royal Trustco.
Today, the company is led by Phil Soper, who was named President of Royal LePage in 2002 and Chief Executive Officer in 2004. Royal LePage is a Brookfield Real Estate Services Inc. company, a TSX-listed corporation trading under the symbol TSX:BRE. Royal LePage is now owned by the Brookfield Real Estate Services Fund.
