Royal Decree-Law 16/2012

The Royal Decree-Law 16/2012[1] is a Spanish Royal Decree-Law that restricted the rights to access health services from the Spanish National Health System. It was introduced on April 20, 2012. It puts into law severe cuts in the Spanish National Health System, including the following:

Income ≤€18,000/year €18,000/year and ≤€100,000/year €100,000/year
Private workers 40% 50% 60%
Public workers 30% 30% 30%
Senior citizens 10% (max. €8/month) 10% (max. €18/month) 10% (max. €60/month)
