Roughgrange
Roughgrange is a small settlement on the river Boyne, near Duleek, in Ireland.
Today a commercial farm house and tourist attraction, Roughgrange is ranked as one of Ireland's most popular destinations.
The place also has historical significance as the ford where Meinhardt Schomberg, 3rd Duke of Schomberg led his protestant troops across the Boyne to cut off the rear of the Franco-Irish army of James II in the seventeenth century battle of the Boyne.
