Personal life

Marriages and divorce

In 1987, Rosalie met French actor Alain Delon, when she was hired to perform as an extra background singer for one of his video clips. Although they had over 30 years of age difference they started a relationship, for which she gave up her modeling work. The couple had two children: Anouschka (1990) and Alain-Fabien (1994).[4]

They divorced in 2001, after which Rosalie went on to remarry the French businessman and "King of Glasses" Alain Afflelou less than a year later in 2002. Subsequently in 2008 they divorced after which she wrote a book on divorce, the main message being that it is not that terrible and how to get over it (when you have money), and how to make sure you get what you "deserve" financially.[5]

In June 2011, Rosalie van Breemen's son Alain Fabien Delon was indicted after having shot a 16 year old girl in Geneva, Switzerland, nearly killing her while under the consumption of drugs and alcohol in Alain Delon's apartment.[6]
