déja Roo: Times Have Changed and Drobots: The Reboot
His album deja Roo: Times Have Changed[2] included features from Scarface, Bubba Sparxxx, Tony Williams, and Houston rapper Doughbeezy. déja Roo was picked by Complex magazine as one of the Top 10 Best Houston Rap Mixtapes of 2013.[3] XXL magazine echoed the sentiment by naming him one of "The Rappers at SXSW That You Don't Want To Miss"[4]
Because of these accolades, combined with the reputation he had built up, Roosh was selected in the Fall of 2013 by Simple Mobile, Complex and HipHopDX.[5][6] Both projects were well received going into SXSW 2014, where he was named one of the "10 Best Rap Performances at SXSW" by Complex magazine[7] and subsequently was featured on XXL magazine's "The Break" [8]

In February 2015, Roosh dropped his album, Unorthodox. The lead single, "Extraordinary", featured Rochester MC Emilio Rojas[9] and was followed up by his second collaboration with Scarface, "Deep End".[10] The video for "Deep End" premiered on XXL magazine in February.[11] The album peaked at #40 on the iTunes Hip-Hop Chart the first week it was released and received critical acclaim [12] and praise.[13] This led to Roosh being invited on the Sway In The Morning Show where he freestyled [14] and discussed his Iranian roots.[15]
