Roopa Sri is an Indian actress of nineties.[2] She has done Kannada, Tamil-language and Malayalam movies. She made her Malayalam debut with the movie Kallanum Polisum in 1992 with Mukesh in the lead. Currently she is acting in Chandanamazha, a Malayalam serial, in Asianet. She won best actress award in character role for portraying the role of Oormila Devi in Chandanamazha serial in the Asianet Television Awards 2014.[3]
Biography
Roopa Sri hails form Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She has four sisters. She started her acting career, at the age of 13 years, as a heroine. later she moved to character roles and supporting roles. She appeared in glamorous roles as well. She took a break from movies after marriage. Her husband is also in film field. Again she made a come back through serials and now she is appearing in Tamil and Malayalam serials. Currently the actress is settled with her husband and children in Chennai.[4]
