Roop Mallik

Roop Mallik is an Indian biologist who works on nanoscale molecular motor proteins that transport material such as virus, mitochondria, endosomes etc. inside living cells. These motors generate forces of the order of pico-Newtons.[1]

Early Life and Career

He was born on 2 March 1970 at Allahabad. His father is a retired mechanical engineer.[2][3] He received Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Awards-2014.[4][5][6]
