Ron Griggs[2] is an American politician and a Republican member of the New Mexico Senate representing District 34 since his December 11, 2012 appointment by Governor of New Mexico Susana Martinez to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Vernon Asbill, having been elected to the seat in the November 6, 2012 General election. Griggs was previously the mayor of Alamogordo.[3]

Griggs attended New Mexico State University Alamogordo and earned his BBA from New Mexico State University.
