The diocese of Vĩnh Long (Latin: Dioecesis Vinhlongensis) is a Roman Catholic diocese in southern Vietnam. The bishop is Thomas Nguyên Van Tan, since 2001.
The creation of the diocese in present form was declared November 24, 1960.
The diocese covers an area of 7,878 km², and is a suffragan diocese of the Archdiocese of Ho Chi Minh city.
By 2004, the diocese of Vĩnh Long had about 183,728 believers (4.6% of the population), 158 priests and 88 parishes.[1]
St. Anne’s Cathedral in Vĩnh Long town has been assigned as the Cathedral of the diocese.[2]
