The Roman Catholic Diocese of Kikwit (Latin: Kikuiten(sis)) is a diocese located in the city of Kikwit in the Ecclesiastical province of Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
History
- 1893: Established as Mission “sui iuris” of Koango from the Apostolic Vicariate of Léopoldville
- 31 January, 1903: Promoted as Apostolic Prefecture of Koango
- 28 March, 1928: Promoted Apostolic Vicariate of Koango
- 21 February, 1955: Renamed as Apostolic Vicariate of Kikwit
- 10 November, 1959: Promoted as Diocese of Kikwit
