The Roman Catholic Diocese of Barinas (Latin: Dioecesis Barinensis) is a diocese located in the city of Barinas in the Ecclesiastical province of Mérida in Venezuela.
History
On 23 July 1965 Pope Paul VI established the Diocese of Barinas from the Diocese of Calabozo and Metropolitan Archdiocese of Mérida.
