Rolling Stone Australia Awards
Rolling Stone Australia Awards are awarded annually in January by the Rolling Stone (Australia) magazine since 2010 for outstanding contributions to popular culture in the previous year.[1]
Categories
Except as indicated, the categories are only open for Australian & New Zealander candidates:
- The Rolling Stone Award
- Best Female
- Best Male
- The International Award (awarded to an international person or group who have had a profound positive impact on popular culture in Australia/NZ)
- Mover & Shaker (awarded to someone who has fundamentally changed their particular field for the better in the previous year)
- The Immortal (A lifetime achievement award)
- Album of the Year
- Best Live Act (open to international performances in Australia/NZ).
- Artist to Watch
- Artist of the Year
- Best Independent Release
