Roja Malare is a 1997 Tamil romantic drama film directed by T. M. Jayamurugan. The film features Murali, Reeva, Arun Pandian and Anand Babu in lead roles. The film, produced by Nirmaladevi Jayamurugan, had musical score by Adithyan and was released on 5 December 1997 to negative reviews.[1][2][3]

Plot

Kannan is a singer in a musical ensemble with his friends (Anand Babu, Senthil and Madhan Bob). Kannan falls in love with, a college student, Malarvizhi (Reeva) but he cannot express his love. Malarvizhi gets engaged with Arun, a strict businessman. Will Malarvizhi accept Kannan's love forms the rest of the story.
