Roger Ver

Roger Ver nicknamed Bitcoin Jesus (b. ~1979) was an early American investor in Bitcoin. He leveraged his gains and invested several million dollars into new Bitcoin related startups including Blockchain, Ripple, and BitPay.

Ver pled guilty to selling explosives on eBay in 2002, and was sentenced to 10 months in Federal prison.[1]

He has been living outside of the USA since 2007 and formally renounced his United States citizenship in 2014 after gaining citizenship in St Kitts and Nevis.
