Air Chief Marshal Sir Roger Hewlett Palin KCB OBE RAF (born 8 July 1938) is a former senior Royal Air Force commander.

RAF career

Educated at Canford School and St John's College, Cambridge, Palin was commissioned into the King's Royal Rifle Corps in 1958.[1] He later transferred to the Royal Air Force and became Officer Commanding No. 43 Squadron.[2] He went on to be Commander-in-Chief of RAF Germany and Second Tactical Air Force in 1989 and Air Member for Personnel in 1991 before retiring in 1993.[3]
