Rocky Trottier

Rocky Trottier (born April 11, 1964 in Climax, Saskatchewan and raised in Val Marie, Saskatchewan) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played 38 games in the National Hockey League. He played with the New Jersey Devils, who drafted him 8th overall in 1982, making him the first player to be drafted as a Devil. He is the younger brother of Bryan Trottier.

In the Devils' 5-2 win at the Izod Center (then known as the Brendan Byrne Arena) on December 17, 1984, Rocky scored on a penalty shot against Edmonton Oilers's goaltender Andy Moog; it was the first penalty shot attempt in the Devils' franchise history.
