Robyn Hitchcock and the Egyptians

Robyn Hitchcock and the Egyptians was a band led by Robyn Hitchcock. It was formed in 1984 and split in 1994, composed of Robyn Hitchcock, Andy Metcalfe, Morris Windsor, former members of the Soft Boys (1976-1981, reuniting 1994 & 2006), and Roger Jackson, and was famous for college-radio hits like "Balloon Man" (1988), Madonna Of The Wasps (1989) and "So You Think You're In Love" (1991).
