Robson Conceição (born October 25, 1988 in Salvador, Bahia) is a Brazilian amateur boxer who fought at the 2008 Summer Olympics in the men's featherweight division and won lightweight silver at the 2011 PanAm Games.
Career
At the first qualifier he lost the all-important semi to Idel Torriente 6:18 but had it all his way at the second tournament with wins over Venezuelan Angel Rodriguez, Canadian Arash Usmanee, Abner Cotto 24:6 and Roberto Navarro in the final.
He lost his only Olympic fight to local hero Yang Li 4:12.
At the 2011 World Amateur Boxing Championships – Lightweight he lost a close decision 18:19 to superstar and eventual winner Vasyl Lomachenko. At the 2011 Pan American Games in 2011 Guadalajara he lost the lightweight final to Yasniel Toledo but qualified for the 2012 Olympics.
