Robert Patrick Armstrong, QC is a retired lawyer and judge.

Armstrong was called to the Bar in 1967 and was appointed a Queen's Counsel in 1978.[1]

Armstrong began the practice of law with Kimber, Dubin in Toronto, joined Torys in Toronto in 1972 and became a partner there in 1973 where he remained until he was appointed a Justice of the Ontario Court of Appeal in 2002.[2]

Armstrong has appeared in numerous famous cases including Hill v. Church of Scientology of Toronto in the Supreme Court of Canada.[3]

Armstrong was a bencher of the Law Society of Upper Canada from 1995 to 2002 and the 56th Treasurer of the Law Society of Upper Canada from 1999 to 2001.[4]
