Robert L. Linn

Robert L. Linn is an educational psychologist who has made notable contributions to the understanding of educational assessments. He has studied technical and policy issues relating to the application of test data, and the effects of high-stakes testing on teaching and learning. He is a professor emeritus at the University of Colorado, past president of the American Educational Research Association and the National Council on Measurement in Education (NCME), and former editor of the Journal of Educational Measurement. He completed his PhD and MA in educational psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
