Robert I. Frost

Robert I. Frost (born c. 1960) is a British historian and academic.^[1]

He attended the University of St Andrews, the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland. He earned his doctorate in the School of Slavonic and East European Studies at the University of London.

He taught school for three years in the mid-1980s. Frost became a temporary and permanent lecturer in history at King's College London, in 1987 and '88 respectively, and Reader in 2001. He was chosen to become Head of the college's School of Humanities in 2004, effective in August;^[2] in September, he accepted appointment as Professor of Early Modern History and Head of the School for Divinity, History and Philosophy at University of Aberdeen, Scotland,^[3] where he remained as of 2009. He holds the Burnett Fletcher Chair of History.^[4]
