Robert Carington, 2nd Baron Carrington
Robert John Carington, 2nd Baron Carrington (16 January 1796 – 17 March 1868) was a baron in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. He was the son of Robert Smith, 1st Baron Carrington. The Smith family adopted the name "Carington" in 1849. Note that the family name is spelled with one 'r' while the barony is spelled with two.
