Rob Moore is a South African entrepreneur.

Media career

Moore founded Touchline Media in 1989 as a sports publisher, bringing readers across South Africa titles included SA Sports Illustrated, Kick Off, Runner’s World and Golf Digest. With the launch of powerhouse global brand Men’s Health in 1997, the company diversified its offering to become a lifestyle publisher. The growth of Touchline meant the company was named as one of South Africa’s Top 10 Non-Listed companies. Moore ended up MD of Touchline, with a 50% shareholding. Over a few years he built the company from a one magazine business to a publishing house with eight titles, a thriving sports photo agency (later sold to Getty Images), Internet and TV productions. Moore sold his Touchline shares to Naspers for a very hefty amount worth millions in 1999.[1]
