Riyaz Kharat
Riyaz Kharat (born in Karbala) is one of the eminent Iranian Scientists in the field of Chemical engineering and Petroleum engineering. He is the full professor of Petroleum University of Technology and now he is the dean of Tehran Faculty of Petroleum (Petroleum School of Accounting and Financial Sciences).
His interest research and activities is about the Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR), Improved Oil Recovery (IOR), Asphaltene & Wax studies, Thermal Recovery Methods, and Reservoir Modeling & Simulation.
Prof. Kharat published more than 111 ISI International Journals, 40 SPE PAPERS, 20 National Journals and had participated in more than 165 National & International Seminar & Symposium and had supervised more than 130 Msc. and PhD. thesis in the field of Chemical and Petroleum engineering.[1]
