Rigid cohomology

In mathematics, rigid cohomology is a p-adic cohomology theory introduced by Berthelot (1986). It extends crystalline cohomology to schemes that need not be proper or smooth, and extends Monsky–Washnitzer cohomology to non-affine varieties.
