Riedell Skates
Riedell Shoe Inc. was founded in Red Wing, MN in 1947 by a former Red Wing Shoes employee. The founder, Paul Riedell, wanted to design widely available and affordable ice skates. This task secured him a spot in both the ice and roller skating hall of fame.[1]
Today
Paul Riedell's 4 grandsons employ and manufacture the most complete line of figure skates, speed, roller, and in-line skates. To ensure a proper fitting shoe, the factory authorized dealers use a special fitting scale. Only this allows the customer to buy the exact fitting shoe; a shoe that has more than a 120 production steps.
