Richard Porter "Ricky" Dillon Jr.[1] is an American YouTube personality and musician from Mooresville, North Carolina.
Early and personal life
Dillon was born on April 4, 1992 in North Carolina. Dillon's family moved to Alabama when he was a year old. Dillon attended high school at Hoover High School. Dillon then attended college at Auburn University to study film, but dropped out after two years.[2][3] Dillon's father is a pharmaceutical representative and his mother is a former real estate agent
Career
Dillon began his career on YouTube, uploading his first public video to his channel, PICKLEandBANANA, in 2010. Over his four years on YouTube, Dillon has amassed over two million subscribers on his channel, as well as more than 100 million views on his videos. He is also partnered with Fullscreen, and has participated in their InTour festival.[4] Dillon primarily uploads advice, how to, sketch, and challenge videos on his channel. Dillon also uploads music songs, both original songs and covers, and music videos on his channel. He also stars in a scripted Sour Patch Kids series with fellow YouTuber Andrea Russett, titled Breaking Out.[5] Dillon was also a member of a YouTube collaboration channel, known as Our2ndLife.[6][7] In 2014, Dillon released his debut single, titled "Ordinary".[8] Dillon's debut EP, titled RPD, was released on January 26, 2015.[9][10]
