Rick Noji

Rick Noji (born October 22, 1967 in Seattle) is a retired American high jumper.

He finished eighth at the 1991 World Championships. He also competed at the 1993 and 1995 World Championships without reaching the final.

His personal best jump is 2.31 metres, achieved in February 1992 in Long Beach.[1]

Sometime in 1984 he gave a presentation on the dangers of peer pressure to a class of 6th graders at Broadview-Thompson Elementary school in Seattle, WA. Most of the kids in the class didn't really understand what he was talking about and thought he was speaking of "pure pressure" that was going to be really hard to deal with.
