Richard Alexander Wearne (born 10 April 1972) is an Australian-born London-based professional photographer who was a World Rowing Championships silver and bronze medalist and Olympic Games rower.
Early life and education
Wearne was born in Sydney and attended Newington College (1981-1989) [1] where he was coached by olympian and fellow Old Newingtonian Michael Morgan OAM.
Rower
He won a bronze medal in 1994 and silver medal in 1995 at the World Rowing Championships in coxless pairs [2] In 1996 Wearne competed in the men's eight event at the Atlanta Olympics and the crew was placed sixth. He retired from competitive rowing in 1997

Wearne is a photographer with RB Create in London.[3]
