Richard Nicholson, Powerlifting Atlanta 1996
Richard Nicholson is a Paralympic competitor from Australia. He competed at the 1996 Summer Paralympics, the 2000 Summer Paralympics, 2004 Summer Paralympics and the 2008 Summer Paralympics. At the 2000 Games, he won a silver medal in the powerlifting Men's Up To 60 kg event. He won another silver medal in 2004 in Athens in athletics, in the Men's 4x100 m T53–54 event.[1]
In 2011, he was an ACT Academy of Sport scholarship holder training and based in Canberra in preparation for the 2012 Summer Paralympics.[2]
At the 2012 Summer Paralympics Nicholson participated in the Men's 100 m T54, 400 m T54 and the Men's 4x400 m T53/54 – winning a bronze in the 4x400 m.[1]
