Richard M. Langworth

Richard M. Langworth CBE (born 1941- ) is a Moultonborough, New Hampshire- and Eleuthera, Bahamas-based author of books and magazine articles, specializing in automotive history and Winston S. Churchill. He was editor of The Packard Cormorant from 1975 through 2001, and is a Trustee of the Packard Motorcar Foundation (Detroit, MI). His works have won awards from the Antique Automobile Club of America, Society of Automotive Historians, Old Cars Weekly, Packard Club and Graphic Arts Association of New Hampshire.

Langworth is also author or editor of A Connoisseur's Guide to the Books of Sir Winston Churchill and Churchill in His Own Words . Langworth served as the President of The Churchill Centre in Washington, DC (1988-99) and has been Chairman of the Centre's Board of Trustees since 2000. He has been editor of the Churchill journal Finest Hour from 1982 to date, and a consultant to The Churchillian since 2011. In 1998 he was created a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE) by HM The Queen for his services to Anglo-American understanding and history.
