Richard Jackson (bishop)

Richard Charles Jackson (born 1961) is a Church of England bishop[1] and the current Bishop of Lewes.[2]

Jackson was educated at Christ Church, Oxford and ordained in 1995.[3] After a curacy in Lindfield he was Vicar of Rudgwick from 1998 until 2009 (also Rural Dean of Horsham from 2005) when he became the Diocese of Chichester's Advisor for Mission and Renewal.[4]

He was consecrated in May 2014 at Westminster Abbey by the Archbishop Justin Welby.[5]
