Richard J. Suarez

Richard J. Suarez is an American lawyer and judge on the Florida Third District Court of Appeal.[1]

Background

He was born in Miami, Florida. He graduated from Miami Palmetto Senior High School and received a Bachelor of Music degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami. He received a Master of Music degree also from the University of Miami and his JD degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law.

Judicial Service

In 2002, he was appointed to serve as a County Court Judge for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court of Florida by Governor Jeb Bush and was elected, unopposed, to that position in 2004.

In 2004, Governor Bush appointed Judge Suarez to serve as a Judge on the Third District Court of Appeal.
