Richard Irvin is a Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 81st legislative district. In 2014 Irvin was able to defeat incumbent Mike Fleck, as a write in candidate, in the Republican primary election. Fleck still stood for reelection through, but as a Democrat.[1] Irvin went on to beat Mike Flick in the general election.[2]

Early life

Irvin attended Juniata Valley High School[3] and got a B.S. in accounting from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.[4]

Richard Irvin previously served as Huntingdon County's first Treasurer and the County Tax Claim Director from 1996-2013.[3][5]

Personal life

Irvin has a wife and four children.[5]
